The 21st Century Learning Alliance has launched its Fellowship programme supporting teachers to carry out development or small action-research projects relating to teaching and learning for the 21st century.
Eight projects have been selected from around 100 applicants. They each receive a £6,000 bursary.
Alliance founding member Sir Tim Brighouse said: "We have been staggered by the response and believe we have eight very strong research projects to support over the coming year."

The bursary provided by the 21st Century Learning Alliance will support the teacher and the school in the research, analysis, documentation and dissemination of the findings.
The progress of these projects will be documented on this web site over the coming year.
